Hospitality SaaS & Micro-Frontend Platform
Architected a micro-frontend platform and shared component library for a hospitality management SaaS, cutting deployment time by 40% and bundle size by 35% across 5+ product modules.
Over four years at Maxxton I grew from Software Engineer to Associate Technology Manager, leading a team of 12+ engineers building a hospitality management SaaS platform used across many properties.
I designed and delivered a micro-frontend platform using Module Federation so five-plus product modules could build, test, and deploy independently — taking end-to-end deployment time down by roughly 40%. I also built the shared component library those modules consumed, which kept the UI consistent while each team moved at its own pace.
On the engineering-health side I introduced automated testing with Jest and React Testing Library (reaching ~80% coverage), drove adoption of TypeScript and modern React patterns, and cut bundle size by about 35% through code splitting and lazy loading.
